Chanda Explanation
Chanda is a voluntary system of financial sacrifice through which members support mosques missionary work education humanitarian relief and Jamaat administration. Each type of chanda serves a specific purpose.
- Chanda Aam supports general Jamaat activities
- Wassiyyat is a higher level of sacrifice for enrolled members
- Hissa e Aamad applies to asset income for Wassiyyat members
- Jalsa Salana supports the annual gathering
- Tahrik e Jadid supports international missions
- Waqf e Jadid supports rural and developing area missions
