1. Describe what you need
2. Your prompt
This tool builds a structured prompt from your answers. It does not send anything to an AI – paste the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other assistant.
Why structured prompts work better
AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini only know what you tell them. A one-line request like “write an article about SEO” leaves the model to guess the audience, length, tone and purpose, so you get a generic answer. A prompt that states the task, the context and your requirements gives the model what a human freelancer would need from a brief, and the first draft is usually much closer to what you want.
The parts of a good prompt
- Task: one clear sentence saying what you want produced.
- Context: the facts the AI cannot know – your product, your business, the situation, previous attempts. This is often the most important part.
- Role: “You are an experienced copywriter” nudges vocabulary and style. It helps a little, but context and requirements matter more.
- Audience, tone, format and length: the details that most often make an answer unusable when they are left out.
- Must / must not: facts to include, words to avoid, brand rules.
- An example: showing a short sample of the style you like is often more effective than describing it.
Tips
- Ask the AI to ask you questions first when the task is complex. The answers improve the result more than any wording trick.
- Ask it to check its answer and to say when it is unsure. This catches some mistakes, but AI can still state wrong facts confidently – always verify names, numbers, quotes and legal or medical information yourself.
- Iterate: if the first answer is close, tell the AI exactly what to change (“shorter”, “less formal”, “add a price comparison”) instead of starting over.
- Never paste passwords, customer data or confidential documents into a public AI tool unless your company allows it.
Example
Instead of “Write a description for my wallet”, the generator produces a prompt with a role (copywriter), the task, context (handmade, full-grain leather, lifetime guarantee), audience (gift buyers), tone, format (short paragraphs plus three bullet points), length (about 150 words) and rules (“mention the guarantee”, “don’t use the word luxury”).
