SEO-friendly slugs

Accents are converted (é → e), symbols removed and words joined with your separator. Click any slug to copy it.

What makes a good URL slug?

The slug is the part of a web address after the domain, such as /best-coffee-shops-valencia/. A clean slug helps readers and search engines understand the page before they open it.

  • Short and descriptive: 3–6 words is usually enough.
  • Lowercase, with hyphens: Google treats hyphens as word separators. Underscores join words together.
  • Include the main keyword and drop filler words like “the”, “of” and “and”.
  • Avoid dates if you plan to update the article later, so the URL never goes out of date.
  • Don’t change a published slug without adding a 301 redirect from the old address.

Frequently asked questions

Does it handle accents and other languages?

Yes. Accented Latin letters are converted to plain letters (for example “Cómo” becomes “como”). Text in non-Latin scripts such as Urdu or Arabic is removed, so add an English or transliterated title for those.

Can I convert many titles at once?

Yes. Paste one title per line and every line gets its own slug. Use “Copy all” to copy the whole list.
