How to convert images to JPG, PNG or WebP
- Drop one or more images into the box, or click to choose them.
- Pick the output format and quality. Optionally set a maximum width to shrink large photos.
- Click Convert, then download each file or use Download all.
Which format should I choose?
- WebP: best for websites. Usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality, and supports transparency.
- JPG: works everywhere. Good for photos you will email or print. Transparent areas become white.
- PNG: lossless. Best for logos, screenshots and images with text or transparency, but files are larger.
- AVIF: even smaller than WebP. Shown only if your browser can create it.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Conversion happens in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.
Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Only in browsers that can open HEIC (Safari on Mac and iPhone). In other browsers, set your iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" or share the photo as JPG first.
Will converting remove the photo's location data?
Yes. The converted file is redrawn from the pixels, so EXIF data such as GPS location and camera details is not copied.
