How to record your voice online

- Speak normally. The waveform shows your voice level. Use Pause to take a break.
- Click Stop. Your recording appears on the right, ready to play.
- Download it as WebM/M4A (small files) or WAV (works in every audio editor).
Tips for clear audio
- Keep the microphone 15–25 cm from your mouth and record in a small, soft-furnished room.
- Use "Reduce noise & echo" for speech and "Raw audio" for music or instruments.
- Headphones with a microphone usually sound better than a laptop's built-in mic.
Frequently asked questions
Are my recordings uploaded?
No. Audio is recorded and stored in your browser only. Closing the tab deletes the recordings, so download the ones you want to keep.
Is there a time limit?
No fixed limit. Very long recordings use more memory, so for hours of audio a desktop app is more reliable.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, in Safari on iOS 14.3 or newer. The file is saved as M4A.
