How to convert JPG images to PDF

  1. Choose or drop one or more images. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF files are supported.
  2. Put them in the right order with the arrow buttons. Each image becomes one page.
  3. Choose the page size, orientation and margin, then click Create PDF.

Which settings to choose

  • A4 or Letter – best when the PDF will be printed or submitted as a document (forms, receipts, homework). A4 is standard in most countries; Letter is used in the US and Canada. The image is scaled to fit inside the margins without being cropped or stretched.
  • Same as image – each page gets exactly the size of its image, with no white borders. Good for photo albums, slides and screenshots.
  • Orientation: Auto – wide images get a landscape page and tall images a portrait page, so every image is as large as possible.

Image quality

JPG photos are placed in the PDF as they are, without re-compressing, so there is no quality loss. PNG images are also kept lossless, including transparency. WebP and GIF images, and phone photos that are stored sideways with a rotation tag, are converted to high-quality JPG (92%) so they appear the right way up. For a GIF, only the first frame is used.

Because nothing is compressed, the PDF is roughly as large as your images together. To make it smaller, compress the photos first with the Image Compressor.

Privacy

The PDF is built in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library. Your photos are not uploaded anywhere.
