How do I calculate my percentage score from points?

Divide points earned by total points possible, then multiply by 100. For example, 18 out of 20 = 18 ÷ 20 = 90%.

How do I find out what I need on my final exam?

If you know your current grade and want to find what score you need on the final, use our Final Grade Calculator.

The standard 4.0 scale maps A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0.0. The calculator includes +/- adjustments (like B+=3.3, B-=2.7).

The calculator divides the weighted points by the sum of active weights, yielding an accurate current grade even if some weights remain unearned.
